Program Assistant

Jada volunteered with Keep Pinellas Beautiful for our World Oceans Day event in June 2025. Shortly after, she joined the team as our Program Assistant! In this role, she helps lead litter abatement and beautification projects, supports outreach events, manages program data, and oversees the Eco Hospitality Partnership Program—recruiting new members, hosting training events, and engaging with hospitality industry partners to promote sustainable practices.

Jada was born in West Virginia, where she fell in love with nature. She transferred to the University of South Florida, Saint Petersburg Campus, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology. As an undergrad, Jada conducted conservation biology research and became an AAUS Scientific Diver collecting data on coral reefs in the Caribbean. Experience as a Kayak-Eco Tour Guide at Shell Key Preserve with Get Up and Go Kayaking fostered her interest in Florida species ID, conservation, and community outreach within Pinellas County.

In her spare time, Jada loves beachcombing, scuba diving, crocheting, surfing, reading, climbing, snowboarding, riding horses, kayaking, camping, and snuggles with her cat Asher.
