Communications Coordinator

Jesse joined the Keep Pinellas Beautiful team in August of 2025 as the Communications Coordinator. Through this role, Jesse oversees our public connections, website, newsletters, press releases, blogs, social media pages, content creation, and engagement with the community at various events. She is thrilled to be part of this creative team and capture inspiring moments through her lens.

Jesse brings a unique perspective to the conservation field, having seamlessly transitioned from a career in professional cinematography. A graduate of DePaul University, she earned her BFA in Cinematography and spent three years working in the heart of the Chicago film industry. Seeking to align her creative talents with her deep-seated passion for environmental stewardship, she went on to earn a Graduate Certificate in Communications for Conservation from Colorado State University. As well as earning her remote pilot certification approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. This blend of technical media expertise and environmental communication allows Jesse to capture and share the inspiring, tangible moments of impact that define our local restoration projects.

When she isn't behind the camera or at her desk, Jesse is almost always found outdoors, embracing her love for the ocean and marine life. You can often find her snorkeling, paddleboarding, or swimming somewhere along the Pinellas Coast. An avid lover of nature and vintage aesthetics, she also enjoys gardening, thrifting, yoga, and catching live music. Above all, she cherishes time spent with her friends, family, and her beloved dog, Maggie Mae.
